What! Not more hymns!

Saturday 27th June 2009
10:00 am - 4:00 pm

(arrivals/registration from 10am, 10.30am start)

Led by the Rev. Dr Andrew Pratt:
a Methodist minister serving as tutor at Hartley Victoria College, Manchester, and a prolific hymnwriter with over 500 hymns to his name.

The day will have two strands ? hymns and how we use them, and the new Methodist Collection ? How far have we come? How far is there to go?

Please complete the form to Susan Beatty (District LP Secretary) by 13th June 2009, earlier if possible, so that we know how many people to expect and how much food is needed for lunch. Lunch will be provided and tea and coffee will be served from 10am. There is no charge for the day, but there will be an opportunity to contribute to expenses if you wish to do so. St. Peter?s House is about 10 minutes? walk from Oxford Road Station, and buses stop directly outside, on Oxford Road. Car parking is available in the nearby Aquatics Centre car park (there is a charge). Please contact Susan Beatty (0161 449 7225 or by email) if you need directions or any further information.
